How to 3D print your card
A two-color printed card reads cleanly if you mind the contrast between body and ink and keep the letters at a printable size. This guide comes from real tests on a Bambu Lab with AMS.

Fill in the front: name, job title and a contact line. Upload your logo as SVG if you want.

Move to the back and paste the link for the QR. Turn on the NFC pocket if you will use a tag.

Pick flat inlay for two flush colors, or raised for lifted text. Choose the two filaments.

Export the 3MF for a Bambu with AMS, or the parts ZIP if you assign colors by hand. Print it flat, no supports.
Tips that help
- The back is mirrored on purpose: it reads correctly when you flip the card over on its axis.
- CR80 size (85.6 × 54 mm), the same as a bank card. A 2 mm thickness is a good starting point.
- Matte filament for the ink: it contrasts better and the QR scans without glare.
- The NFC pocket takes a round 25 mm tag. You glue it in after printing, on the opposite side from the QR.
Frequently asked questions
What is flat inlay mode?
The ink sinks into the body and sits flush with the surface, in a different color. On multicolor printers it gives the best finish: no relief, two clean colors. Raised mode, by contrast, lifts the text above the face.
Why does the back look reversed in the preview?
The back content is mirrored on purpose. When you print the card and flip it over on its axis, the QR and the text read the right way around. Without mirroring, it would read like in a mirror.
Does the back QR scan well when printed?
Yes, if you use two colors with good contrast and matte filament. The QR is generated with error correction M, enough for printing. Test it with your camera before handing the card out.
Do I need a multicolor printer?
No. With the 3MF and an AMS it is direct, but you can also download the parts ZIP and print body and ink as two pieces, or do a per-layer filament change on a single-color printer.
